Smart agri-food

The Spoke will develop research and technology transfer activities in the area of smart agri-food. The digital and green transitions require a holistic approach to agri-food systems, where smart solutions are developed at the level of business management, production (both primary production and industrial transformation), circular economy, logistics and supply chain.

Several food value chains of the Nord-Est territory (grape and wine, olive oil, dairy, baked goods, crops, food and feed; fisheries and aquaculture; etc) will be targeted in the different dimensions of possible digital and green innovation.
